At Maine What I really love about Maine is that when I catch a bass. I love the smell of the inside of its mouth. When I see moose. Moose are humungous. When I hear and see eagles as they fly over the middle of the lake. It is exciting when a snapping turtle pops its head out of the water to grab a piece of meat. We make smores over the cracking fire. I am thrilled when I let a fish go in the water and it swims off my hands. Maine smells like freedom to me. by Steven David (age 9) |
